Firmware

Issues around flashing livebox firmware HAH or Orange ready for jail breaking.

Lua build Problem

I've downloaded the latest SVN update, but when I try to make the code I get an error with the Lua component, see below.

Arduino Boot Loader

Hi,

I saw your update about the Arduino boot loader. Does this mean we can develope code in the arduino ide for the avr in HAH?

Does it replace the original firmware or sit along side it?

Cheers

Question about flashing hah-firmware.dwb onto Livebox

I'm new to Livebox/HAH so hope my question isn't too stupid...

I've replaced the Redboot loader OK and think the next stage is to get the hah-firmware.dwb onto the Livebox (as I don't plan on assembling my own firmware)

As I don't have ready access to a Linux machine I've installed TFTP server onto Windows and am trying to translate the instructions here into Windows speak - http://www.dbzoo.com/livebox/firmware

xap-audio

Hi Brett,

Would it be a big job to expand HAHs xap with the xap-audio schema?

Specifically for the plugboard and allowing it to interact with audio devices or have I misunderstood and it already can?  I have tried to create xap-audio messages but they don't seem to work.

Loving all the updates, great work.

xap-snoop

Trying to use xap-snoop -h at the hash prompt after telneting in.

Keep getting following message:

     /usr/bin/xap-snoop: line 1: syntax error: "<" unexpected

Any ideas?

Also running xfx viewer on the pc into the router I see nothing - suspect I am doing something daft here.

Apart from that great fun.  Got googlecals, twitter, plugboard (demos), etc working.  Waiting for SMS cable.

I/O shows 'could not connect' after 254 update

I just updated to 254 and now all my I/O shows 'could not connect'.

RF, relay, input, temp, and LCD.  (LCD does display IP)

I've tried rebooting several times and got it back very briefly once for a few secs but then it went again... is this just a coincident hardware fail with the update or could it be a firmware issue ?

Issue with 253, not sure.

Hi Guys,

As you know I do most of my controlling HAH through my Joggler and xapflash.

Now upto 253 I pretty much had a basic config working no problem, controlling devices and picking up info.

After upgrading I had to obviously change all the uids in xapflash to point to the new xap devices.

Now the buttons don't work or rather they do work but when I press a button on I get an immediate off to match it.

If it's on and I press it I get an off and an immediate on so effectively the buttong doesn't work.

Latest flashin issue

Hi Derek,

Just flashing my 2nd HAH.  Get all the way to replacing the bootloader, no problem.  I then flash the hah firmware, connect the system to my network, restart and watch for the new IP grabbed from DHCP.

The system doesn't seem to pick one up.

I have removed the bluetooth circuit, would that make a difference?

I've tried it in both network sockets still nothing.

I get LED 1 quickflash

LED 2 occasional blink.

Extending hah

Hi ,

I'm looking at extending hah to support Comfort (Security/Automation System). I have successfully got the xap-comfort service running and would now like to integrate this into new web pages served by klone. I'd like to be able to set/get alarm status, get/set inputs, set X.10 etc.

HAH flashing 3/4 ok (telnet, Redboot is ok) - HAH firm -not work..;/

Hi,

I used instructions from this side: http://www.dbzoo.com/livebox/hah
