Firmware

I am having problems getting HAH running on my Livebox.  I looked at the telnet approach to console access and decided this was definitely beyond my capabilities. Hence have now purchased a dbZoo console cable.

I have now got access to the Livebox having installed v5_04_3-uk and changed the password as described. So now I am trying to use the serial port for console access.

When trying to build the latest source on Ubuntu 13.04, I've found a couple of issues :-

The xap-flash Makefile has a line :- 

install -m 444 *.{swf,png,jpg,xml} $(INSTALL_DIR)/usr/share/flash

This throws an error :-

install: cannot stat '*.{swf,png,jpg,xml}

A workaround is to include 4 seperate lines for each file type :-

Ok, after following the HAH for a while now i decided to take the plunge and got a box off ebay. it arrived and great i thought. today went through the process to install HA but seem to have hit a "brick" wall. 

this is what i did.....

Downgraded firmware from 5.10.7-uk to 5.04-uk. this was successful (using the 'RGWRepair.exe' software)

Then i did the windows telnet/ftp method, and could successfully open a telnet session to the livebox

I then got a little carried away and did step 7. Stopping 'phone home' behaviour.

I've gone and bought another 'livebox' so I can carry out my new years resolution. I flashed my livebox into a fully functioning HAH using my mac last year. I based my work on the wiki but I did promise to create a write up on how to do this on a mac. You guessed it, I never got around to it and so I am going to do it all again but this time I will have pics, screenshots, step-by-step etc etc

I have tried the 307.1 beta and while the 20x4 lcd works wonders for me, I am having problems with the temperatures and light levels feeding backfrom the roomnodes.

roomnode[2] is working ok for temperature, thanks goodness as that one controls the central heating but the light level feedback is erratic.

roomnode[3] is showing my conservatory at 20C + and I know it's not that warm ;)

I have updated to 307 with no issues, however, I wanted to use pl.xml to parse an xml file as you do in your weather applet(thanks for these examples by the way they really do show how to use the scripting language better than any manual).

I believe to use this I need to update to the 307.1 beta for the penlight uplift, however, I have tried to update to this beta three times now and whilst the update appears to go ok, after reboot the HAH is dead. 

I can easily reflash back to 307 and all is OK.

just got my Livebox up and running HAH and spent this evening setting up the excellent iServer & xAPFlash on one of my Jogglers

next step order the HAH parts bundle from the shop and see if i can get it all talking nicely to my Home Easy range in time for my xmas light demo to the SWMBO!!

i noticed the latest firmware on http://code.google.com/p/livebox-hah/downloads/list is rev 287 dated oct 2011 - flashed to my box

i also noticed some of the screenshots on the xAP wiki show the version 299 with the GUI tab and xAP flash layout built in

This is my first post.

I've already flashed my livebox with openwrt (Backfire 10.03.1) and would like to flash hah-firmware on it.

Seems redboot only tries to load openwrt-livebox.bin, factory_script or /inventel/blue_5g/factory_script but no /inventel/blue_5g/factory_script_crypt ... so tell me if I'm true guessing that the files that should be served by tftp are uncrypted.

Should I decrypt the hah-firmware.dwb ? If yes, how can I achieve this ? Don't know how to ...

Trying to get HAH up and runnoing on my Livebox. Using the instructions on DBZoo

I've managed to downgrade my livebox to v5.03.3-uk

Next it says I need to get command line access

I can access the livebox through the brower and have changed the network settings to

10.0.0.1 etc

PC is set to 10.0.0.2 etc

Downloaded the etc.tar file on step 4

after that it has some command line code. What do I do with that?

I can't connect to the livebox with filezilla server or command prompt - Telnet
