Hi Brett,

I used to be able to select multiple RF items from the GUI and toggle them on/off and they would all switch as desired, however now only the first item in the list gets switched - I only noticed this after updating to the Mega328 and the Universal RF system.

Flow control?

What was the Build/Firmware before the upgrade and the Build/Firmware after the upgrade.  This might help me answer where the problem is.  There is code in the HAH that is only enabled after certain AVR firmware version so the combination is important  This has been reported before but I'm powerless to reproduce, as in I have no ability to reproduce, not that I don't think its a real issue.

Build/Firmware

IIRC - Build/Firmware prior was 278/1.0 and after 302/3.4

CRAP

That's a HUGE jump - there is going to be a lot of changes between these revisions, right then so pretty much everything :)

Yes - Sorry

If it would help I would be willing to downgrade back to the Mega8 and do incremental updates to narrow it down - if i were to do this 1. - preserving my current settings - best way of doing this - GUI backup? and 2. where to find the updates and how to go about loading them.

Thanks

Let try this

Pop the M8 chip back into the system and let me know if it starts working on not.  This will help a LOT.

I don't use this function

But have just tried it and can confirm it doesn't work on 298/3.4 either if that helps Cheers Garry

It woud be interesting if the 2.x firmware

Be interesting if the 2.x firmware has this issue... as that is URF but still in BASCOM.    Sounds more like some sort of xap-livebox process issue but I can't think of anything obvious.

No RF at all now

First off correction to earlier post - HAH was on 300/3.4 not 302/3.4

Reinstated mega8 and updated RF strings for non URF setttings - RF now does not work (build 300/1.0) - xap-livebox-ini was still showing some of the URF codes so I removed them leaving just 2 of the older RF codes defined and rebooted via power cycle - still no joy - tried learning a power socket via on code but nothing - not sure what to try next?

Bad to Worse

No problems - go back to AVR v3.4 and we'll work from there as that is the baseline where people need to be and any code fix would be against this version anyway.  Thanks for the troubleshooting hope it didn't put you out too much.

Might have found the bug

I think I found the bug but so I don't make things worse I've check what I think is the fix in the BETA branch if somebody could verify that this is ok, I'll push this up as a new production build.

Issue Logged

Hi David,

Unfortunately this problem hasn't been fixed in the latest beta, build 302.8/2.3.  I've logged a formal issue, http://code.google.com/p/livebox-hah/issues/detail?id=37, so that it will get dealt with and not forgotten over time.
