Hi,

Just upgraded to new 328mega chip.

Running HAH 303/2.4

Had found some corruption in xap-livebox.ini file, all cleaned up now.

Reset all RF codes for my HE 302 devices to:

Now nothing works even though I have reset each device using group delete from remote.

Any ideas what I've done wrong?

are you sure 2.4?

Can you confirm its version 2.4 not 3.4?? 3.4 is the recent version.

Hi Garry,Yes definitely 2.4.

Hi Garry,

Yes definitely 2.4.  I've been sat on the chip for a while, only just got around to upgrading.

AVR 2.4

Release 2.4 was the last implementation where BASCOM was used.

2.4 does contain URF handling but due to undiagnosable stack issues it was never 100% stable, there were various reports that after a while it would just lock up.   Rather then burning time trying to figure this out, I rewrote the whole firmware into C which spawned the 3.x series.

R222 (circa build 279) was the last time this code was updated.  R275 (build 284) it was official deleted from the trunk and not maintained.  You need to be on AVR 3.4

2.4/3.4

2.4 is really flakey. 3.4 is much better.

If you deffo have a 328 chip i will quite happily re-flash to 3.4 for the cost of a large letter stamp (so i can return it)

PM me if you want to take up this offer.

Thanks for the chip Dean but

Thanks for the chip Dean but now I have more issues.

After wedging the new chip in, I'm now running Running HAH 304/3.4.  I Reprogrammed all rfs(except one) and then rebooted and now pretty much all seem to go on or off when only selecting one.

I've left one on the old code as it controls pcs and servers and I didn't want anything to happen to that.  Quite glad I took that precaution now.

Heres my codes:

Can't really go wrong with any of those I don't think.

Any ideas?

Could it be the antena, I've read around the forum that a better antena improves performance?

I don't use HE devices but

The chip i sent you came from Derek as i bought another HAH pcb so i doubt it is that :(

are your on and off codes not the same?

scrub that i can see the subtle change.

HE codes

I tested the URF with a HE302 socket a while back. Seemed fine. My day-to-day devices are Lidl sockets. Once I get back to base (this weekend), I'll put the HE302 back in and use one of your codes.

Will report back here.

Cheers,
Derek.

Thanks Derek

Thanks Derek.  I'm not actually using the wall socket(think that's the 302 you're talking about) thing yet, all my devices are still the single plugin devices.

HE302

Is the single 'plug-in' style socket. I recall that these can also train to work with the BBSB codes. It might be interesting to try a BBSB codeset.

unfortunately no progess

Hi Dean,

Not so good.  Been a bit distracted by another project for a bit but have tried the other codes you suggested and the codes suggested by David.  Still getting this issue where turning on one RF device turns on several others.  I did only try changing one device with new codes though.

I think I'll go through and clear all devices and start a fresh with one set of codes.

Cheers

New chip still no go

Hi Guys,

I found a problem with my system and thought I'd cracked it.  One of the pins on my controller had cracked and broken.

Bought a new one with firmware 3.4 and still can't get these 302's to work.  At least they're not all coming on at once now though.

Dean, I tried one of your codes but that didn't work either.

Could there be something wrong with my RF thing on the board?  It does work with the old controller.

Cheers

If the old AVR chip works ...

... i.e. it can control an RF socket correctly, then there is nothing wrong with the RF module.

Is your HAH flashed up to the latest firmware (Build 306)?

Weird that Dean has codes that work on his unit, yet the same ones aren't good for yours.

Have you tried deleting all of the 'paired' transmitters and starting over?

"Remote Socket reset:
To delete all the remote control units from the memory of the receiver
socket, hold the "Learn" button for more than 6 seconds, the LED will start
to blink continuously. Press a the "Learn" button again, the LED will blink
twice to confirm that all paired remote controls have been deleted from
the receiver sockets memory."

Hi Dean,These are all BBSB

Hi Dean,

These are all BBSB codes apart from one which seems to be an HE code...?  Wierd.

I did try BBSB codes too but couldn't get that to work either.

The one I'm testing it on is furthers from the lot, so I have some others that I'll test today.

It does seem to me that the info on the WIKI is not accurate though in relation to HE codes.

Others have had success with those but not by changing the last HEX digit.

yes

It is documented in the wiki (or on here) certain HE's run the BBsb codes (these are one type that do) the oddity is a status asda socket)

All i can say is these codes deffinately work all my HE 302 devices.
