Hi,

Just noticed that when trying to jump from one graph to the other using the drop down box, the graphs don't change as expected.  When I select graph 2, I get a blank screen until I hit Refresh and then I can't jump back to graph 1.

Cheers

Gary

Graphing - lots of data

I've not seen this issue. It can take some little while for pachube to deliver all of the data points that are needed for the graph to be rendered, like upto ten seconds after the dropdown is selected.

Let me know what browser you are using. There were some (minor) historic issues with presentation on Chrome, but I think that these were sorted a while back.

Derek.

Firefox 3.6.7

Hi derek,

Using Firefox 3.6.7.

It's not really datapoints, it just doesn't display anything in the graph window until I refresh and then I am unable to go back to the first graph...

I select the drop down, choose grapgh 1 and it just refreshes graph 2.

I'll delete my cache etc and have another go.  I am using a plugin called 'NoScript' but I have approved the site, so that shouldn't be affecting it, but it dows do all sorts of fancy cross script blocks etc..

I've had this problem.  Check

I've had this problem.  Check the pachube section of the xap-livebox.ini file.  I think the xap, id and tag numbers might be out of sync.  It was fairly easy to renumber them, and I think that sorted my feeds out.

Thanks, but no corruption in my ini.

Checked the ini and all looks good.

I don't think the order the entries are in would make a diff but in case it does, they are in ID, XAP, TAG order and run in sequence, 0 - 3.

I can't check my ini at the

I can't check my ini at the moment, and can't connect remotely, yet ;)   I'll check it tonight.  I think that the problem arose after adding and deleting feeds.  I know that Pachube still gets updated, as you pointed out it's just an inconvenience in the HAH interface.  I may have copied my old .ini file before changing it, I'll see if I can identify exactly what was wrong.  Or I may have just deleted the feeds in the HAH interface and created them again.

When I checked mine last night I had 2 feeds I do remember I had a blank one and my interface is currently working OK, ie :-

ID2=
XAP2=
TAG2=

I originally found my problem by checking the code for Klone, I thought it was something I'd done so didn't mention it.  As we've both had the same problem, it's probably worth trying to reproduce it and pass it to Derek.  I'll report back later.

Aha - blank is not good

Thanks BoxingOrange, I did actually have blank entries.  2 of them actually.  I removed them and rebotted, unfortunately I still have my issue.

I've also notice that I've been unable to delete a datastream from Pachube.  I only have 2 data streams coming from livebox(had to remove 1) but I'm unable to delete it from Pachube.  Aparantly they are having issues with deletion of datastreams and suggest sending an http request via the api rather than the ui.  I tried that and still no effect.

** EDIT **

Dodgy datastream seems to have dissapeared overnight, so using api formatted curl request did the job.

Still shows up on page, but I assume it will drop off when out of view(history wise)
