How to flash hah-firmware over openwrt ?

Hi everybody,

This is my first post.

I've already flashed my livebox with openwrt (Backfire 10.03.1) and would like to flash hah-firmware on it.

Seems redboot only tries to load openwrt-livebox.bin, factory_script or /inventel/blue_5g/factory_script but no /inventel/blue_5g/factory_script_crypt ... so tell me if I'm true guessing that the files that should be served by tftp are uncrypted.

Should I decrypt the hah-firmware.dwb ? If yes, how can I achieve this ? Don't know how to ...

Thanx in advance for your interrest

Welcome.I would start with

Welcome.

I would start with replacing the version of redboot currently installed.

http://www.dbzoo.com/livebox/buildingfirmware#replacing_the_redboot_loader

Which is step 3 http://www.dbzoo.com/livebox/firmware and then just proceed from there

Thx Brett

I tried your first link, but here is what I get :

root@OpenWrt:/# fcp -v redboot_blueg5.6-patched /dev/mtd0
/bin/ash: fcp: not found

I have serial access to my LB and redboot version is :

RedBoot> version

RedBoot(tm) bootstrap and debug environment [ROM]
Non-certified release, version release-wanadoo-fr - built 11:30:26, Jun 22 2011

Platform: Blue_5g (MIPS32 4Kc)
Copyright (C) 2000, 2001, 2002, Red Hat, Inc.

RAM: 0x80000000-0x81000000, [0x80435d10-0x80fe2000] available
FLASH: 0xbe400000 - 0xbec00000, 128 blocks of 0x00010000 bytes each.

What could I look for ? Install fcp ?

In flashing mode, with openwrt-livebox.bin at the root of my tftpd, redboot loads and flashes it, lb getting an openwrt box ...

Getting mad with this stuff ...

You can get the FCP utility

You can get the FCP utility from http://hah.dbzoo.com/upgrade/fcp

On the default firmware that is on the livebox (pre openwrt) this tool is present.

Update: You might want to take a copy of /dev/mtd0 before you overwrite with this replacement redboot just in case you need to go back.  Something like  # fcp /dev/mtd0 backup.redboot

GREAT STUFF - if you have

GREAT STUFF - if you have flashed from a .DWB file don't forget to upgrade to the latest build.
