Hi All,rol

Im sure this is entirely possible but just wanted to check

we have our first little one on the way and i wanted to monitor the babies bedroom temp with a room node, i thought it would be a nice additional to include a remote LCD into the node to monitor the temp locally plus if possible any other xAP data reported into the HAH, is this possible to hook up an LCD to the Node or is extra hardware required?

i realise this can be done with Jogglers but i didnt want a joggler in every room due to expense and no need for HAH control as such

Thanks

Andy

Thanks Brett,Thats a great

Thanks Brett,

Thats a great link, i can see the pros and cons in both methods

i would prefer to go the xAP Packet method so i could share CurrentCost info and other xAP messages (from other devices) over the network to the remote LCD

however i can see the advantages of using the Jees as one will be present in each room node

i would guess i will need a standalone AVR decoding the xAP packet and outputting via some data lines to an LCD

and a way of getting the standalone device onto my home network

plus some clever LUA scripting on the HAH collecting the data to upload to the nodes

(prehaps the Jee is a better option)

Thanks

Andy
